Centerlink Kingaroy keep their door locked. to be opened by a security guard, who then precedes to ask for my details to scan the qr code outside the door, as i dont have the app, he precedes to tell me i am not allowed in until it is scanned. Underprotest i gave it to him, then i am asked in front of others waiting behind myself a list of personal health questions relating to covid exposure etc..
1. i questioned his procedure and stated the penalties.
2. A public place, should not be locked out. Cannot be refused entry.
3. QR Codes mandate not legal., against privacy act 1988 sect 94 H.
4. Its against the act to give private information asked at the door.
It was stated that they were following QLD health orders.
i soon after returned to give them a copy of the act, but they refused to take it. A new guard at the door and a female staff member.
I left it on the ground and walked off. 8/10/2021
