| Further details of offence | On Sunday, 5 September, 2021, I visited Officeworks Osborne Park W.A, to purchase an electrical cord for my MacBook. The cord was $118. When I was at the checkout, it refused to process my purchase, despite 1) having $1800+ on my Afterpay account, 2) having $60+ in my bank account when the quarter payment was only $29.50, and in fact the first payment at Officeworks does not occur until 2 weeks after purchase. Because of this disgusting mess, Afterpay is now publicly reported, with a damages fee of $500 per day, (and I am being kind about that) until you make an apology, and do a press release advising the world on how you have access to our bank accounts, and what this mess is I have just experienced on Sunday. |
